Modern and quiet holiday apartment in period house in the heart of the Prenzlauer Berg. Our airbnb is perfect for couples and people who are looking for an authentic and relaxing Berlin experience in one of Berlin's most popular neighborhoods.
The studio apartment is located in the rear building of a typical "Berliner Altbau". Built in 1910 it still has lofty high ceilings and windows.
The main living area of our vacation rental has a comfortable queen size bed (160x200), a stylish couch that can be converted into a double bed (184x196), a dinner table with chairs and a spacious wardrobe.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need, including an oven and hub, a toaster, coffee machine and kettle.
There is usually some tea, coffee, salt etc. in the kichen that previous guests have left. We do not, however, provide these items and do not guarantee that they will be there.
The holiday let does not have a TV, that's why we recommand bringing a laptop. We are happy to share our Netflix account.
The bathroom of our airbnb apartment is spacious and has a big bathtub with a shower curtain so you can enjoy both, refreshing showers or long bubble baths. There is also a washing machine and a dryer in the bathroom.

In case you are travelling with children, we can provide a cot (at a surcharge of 20 EUR). Besides that there is also a high chair for children that you may use.

Our apartment is located in the beautiful and trendy Prenzlauer Berg district, known for its thriving café and art gallery culture.
In the Prenzlauer Berg you will find plenty of restaurants, kitsch boutiques and alternative-style bars. The popular Kollwitzplatz and Helmholzplatz are only a leisurely 10-20 min stroll away, same as the Kulturbrauerei, an old brewery with shops, nightlife and a free museum about life in the DDR. Not far from there are the Berlin wall walk and Berlin wall memorial.
If you are in Berlin on a Sunday, don't miss the nearby Mauerpark with its large flea market and renowned outdoor karaoke. A must see, especially on a sunny day!
Not too far from the apartment is “Volkspark Friedrichshain”. This large and popular park, with a fairytale fountain, film showings and beer gardens, is a nice place for hanging out in the summer. For those who prefer a more active holiday it offers facilities for jogging, beach volleyball, bouldering and tennis!
Excellent public transport connections take you into Mitte in about 15 minutes, where you can visit main Berlin attractions such as the Museum Island, the Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom) or Hackescher Markt. From there you can walk to the Brandenburg Gate, the Holocaust Memorial and Checkpoint Charlie.
The tram M10 and the S-Bahn connect the Prenzlauer Berg with Friedrichshain where you can visit the famous East Side Gallery, the longest still intact piece of the Berlin Wall that has been painted by graffiti artists. Friedrichshain also has some buzzing night life areas such as the Simon-Dach-Straße and the Revaler Straße with the quirky RAW Gelände.
From the East Side Gallery it is only a short walk across the river and you are in the popular Kreuzberg district, which is a great place to look out for street art, hang out in Görlitzer Park (which locals call Görli), or go out drinking or clubbing.
A little convenience store and a tasty and affordable Korean restaurant are only meters away from our apartment.

PARKING
Parking fees have to be paid in the area around the apartment. We therefore recommend to park your car on the street Schonensche Straße which is about 600 meters away and has free public parking on the street. By day you can usually find a parking place without a problem, in the evening it may take a little longer to find a spot.
